There is one golf course in Achill and one in Mulranny. There is also a Pitch & Putt
course in Achill at The Valley, where there are plans for a new championship course. The present course is in the village of Keel and is a nine hole links course.
The one in Mulranny is a Championship course and is also a links course. It is therefore more challenging than Keel. All courses welcome day visitors.
Another option open to visitors is a golf tour. Mr. Tom McHale is an expert guide to the courses in the West of Ireland. He assures me he has played every course!
