"Take the Tour"
Achill Tours
will lead you to some of the most spectacular sights in Western
Europe. By setting aside a couple of hours of your holiday we can offer
you the chance to explore the Island's history and landscape with an
experienced local guide. Check out the breath-taking views from the
Atlantic Drive. Discover the Historical Colony set up by Nangle and
the Castle of Grainne Uaile, the Pirate Queen.
Our intimate groups (Achill Tours will allow a
maximum of 12 people on each tour) ensure that everybody is included
and all questions can be answered. You can sit back and relax, happy
in the knowledge that our guide will look after you and make sure
you don't leave Achill saying... "I wish I had seen that...I
learned about it too late"
Bring your camera and
prepare to be enchanted. Your tour commentary will
also includes information on the local flora and fauna, and on
Achill customs, both old and new. Each
tour lasts approximately two hours and prices vary according to size
of the party.
