There are many festivals on Achill throughout the year. The first one is the "Walks" festival which takes place over St. Patrick's Weekend - 15th- 18th March. Other Festivals include the Seafood Festival, Colaiste Acla, Scoil Acla (traditional music & dance), Gaelic Football, Soccer, Achill Rovers Talent Competition, archaeolohgical digs, golf & many more.
